WASHINGTON DC: Smithsonian Will Host Its 2017 Holiday Festival December 2 & 3


To celebrate the season, the 2017 Smithsonian Holiday Festival will feature
family-friendly concerts, exhibits, movie screenings, festive food,
activities for kids and so much more.

The Smithsonian will host a free, two-day festival Saturday, Dec. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the National Museum of American History to kick off the holiday season. A wide selection of festive events, exhibits, activities and seasonal décor will be available throughout the day, including musical performances by U.S. Air Force Band High Flight and Sounds of Faith.

Other highlights include chocolate sampling during a demonstration by Mars Heritage Chocolate and the Children’s Television Holiday display showcasing popular childhood characters sand more. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of treats at the museum cafe.
