WASHINGTON DC: 5th Annual Boundary Stone Bike Ride – October 14th - REGISTER NOW

Boundary Stone #1
Are you a history buff? Biking enthusiast? Regular old adventure seeker?

Whatever the case, join us for a bike ride around the oldest federal monuments, the DC boundary stones: http://www.boundarystones.org/ You can ride 1, 2, 3 or all 4 sides of the DC perimeter (if you do the whole thing, it’s about 60 miles). Similar to last year, we will start the ride at the South Stone. Here’s the route: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/boundary-stone-bike-ride.

As always, the ride will be sponsored by Boundary Stone DC. Again this year is a charity component with all ride proceeds benefiting Phoenix Bikes, Gearin' Up Bicycles, and now also VeloCity Bicycle Co-op and Bikes for the World, your four local nonprofit bike programs.

There will be more information about other sponsors and exciting new additions to this event, including details about the after party at Boundary Stone DC!

NOTE: This is an unsupported ride. However, rest stops will be set up at the South Stone/Start (courtesy of VeloCity), at the West Stone (courtesy of Phoenix Bikes), near the North Stone (courtesy of Bikes for the World), and near the East Stone (courtesy of Gearin' Up Bicycles).

*AFTER PARTY PRIZES*
We will be giving out prizes during the after party for best costume, best bike decor, and best selfie with a stone.
