CLARENDON: Ambar Clarendon Welcomes Autumn with Five New Seasonal Cocktails

Ambar Clarendon, the popular Balkan restaurant, located on Wilson Blvd, has announced their new fall cocktails available in the main dining room or on the 50-seat heated sidewalk terrace. They will be available until December 21st, the first day of winter. These five creative libations are the work of Mixologist Danilo Simic. Each is made with a different seasonal ingredient such as pomegranate, apple, pear and fall spices.
The new cocktails include the Grappa Crusta, a twist on the most popular New Orleans cocktail Brandy Crusta, made with Bulgarian grape rakia, bourbon, Luxardo, simple syrup, triple sec, lemon juice, and cherry bitters;
the Apple Collins, a highball libation that is light and refreshing with every sip, made with gin, cucumber juice and purée, apple rhubarb juice, lime, simple syrup, apple bitters, and a splash of soda;
the Ambar Manhattan, for everyone who want to enjoy a Manhattan, Ambar's unique version is made with rye whiskey for extra spiciness, balanced with Dubonnet, jalapeño orange liqueur, and house-made cherry bitters;
the Skoplje, pleasantly smoky with a dominate pear flavor and acidic finish followed by cinnamon aroma, made with mezcal, zlatna pear, pear purée, cinnamon syrup, and lemon juice, as well as the
Mandarin Splash, a light and fruity cocktail full of berry and citrus flavors, made with vodka, pomegranate juice, cinnamon syrup, lime juice, and mandarin wedges. These newcomers range in price from $9 to $13.
