MVT: Calle Cinco Opens Tonight in Mt. Vernon Triangle

Calle Cinco, the tapas pop-up from Schlow Restaurant Group opens today at 4:00 p.m. Led by chef George Rodrigues, the menu features a broad selection of authentic and modern takes on Spanish-style tapas and cocktails. Executive Pastry Chef Alex Levin rounds out the menu with desserts and a mostly Spanish beverage list features red, white, rose and sparkling wines, along with beers, sherries and Spanish-inspired cocktails like a saffron gin and tonic. The full menu can be found here, and all guests can expect a complimentary tapas from the house during opening week.

Calle Cinco, located adjacent to Alta Strada at 465 K Street, NW, will open Sunday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 12 midnight.
