GEORGETOWN: The Grill Room Now Offering New Prix Fixe Lunch & Brunch Options

The Grill Room, located within the Rosewood Washington D.C. at 1050 31st Street, NW, has  announced the addition of new fixed price, affordable lunch & brunch specials. The menu at The Grill Room specializes in the preparation of hand-cut, bone-in, artisanal meats and fresh seafood complimented with seasonal produce sourced from Pennsylvania, Southern Maryland and Virginia. The new lunch addition invites guests to select an appetizer and entrée, or entrée and dessert for $30 per person (tax and gratuity not included), while the new brunch menu invites guests to select an appetizer and entrée or entrée and dessert for $45 per person, which includes a pastry and bottle of sparkling wine for mimosas for every two guests (tax and gratuity not included). Lunch at The Grill Room is served from daily, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and brunch is served Saturdays & Sundays, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Standouts from the new winter lunch menu include Baby Kale And Mizuna Salad with pomegranate, honey labne, spiced pumpkin tuile and a Champagne vinaigrette; Dry Aged Steak Tartare with fennel, cornichons, capers, tomato crostini and cured egg yolk; Frisée and Apple Salad with bacon lardons, a soft boiled egg and warm bacon vinaigrette; Berkshire Hog Chop with hedgehog mushrooms, oven roasted Brussels sprouts and mustard sauce; Ora King Salmon with lollipop kale, pomegranate and a sauce of butternut squash and orange; Mortadella Burger, served on a potato bun with house mayonnaise, grilled mortadella, onion jam and cheddar cheese with fries and pickles, as well as the Grilled Big Eye Tuna with oven roasted winter vegetables and a warm anchovy-balsamico. For dessert, guests can look forward to sweet confections such as the Yuzu Cake with yuzu white chocolate ganache, mint meringue, almond shortbread crumble and pear sorbet; Chocolate Mousse with Devil’s food cake, coconut sorbet, passion fruit gel, coco crumbles and white chocolate snow; Winter Citrus Panna Cotta, honey panna cotta, seasonal citrus supreme, cinnamon rice crispy crumble and blood orange sorbet, and the Chocolate Hazelnut Brownie with chocolate hazelnut feuilletine, brownie bites, Chantilly cream, coffee ice cream and hazelnuts. Lunch dishes are also available a la carte with prices ranging from $12 to $27 each.

For brunch, guests can look forward to menu highlights such as the Fennel and Shrimp with fennel confit, blood oranges and black olive coulis; Shakshuka, eggs cooked in a zesty tomato sauce with avocado and labne; Chorizo and Polenta with fennel, red peppers, poached egg and herb bread crumbs; Cinnamon Raisin Brioche French Toast with strawberries, maple syrup and whipped cream; Smoked Salmon Benedict with zesty greens and Champagne vinaigrette, as well as the Grilled Pastrami, Egg and Gruyere Cheese, served on rye bread with a house-made pickle relish, Russian potato salad and fried pickles. The same dessert options that are available during lunch service will also be available during brunch. Bunch dishes are also available a la carte with prices ranging from $15 to $24 each.
