GEORGETOWN: The Grill Room to Offer a "March & Lunch" Special For The Women's March on Washington - January 21

The Grill Room, located within the Rosewood Washington D.C. at 1050 31st Street, NW, is pleased to debut a March & Lunch prix fixe special to coincide with the Women’s March on Washington.

Those participating in the march are encouraged to stop by the Georgetown restaurant to warm up and enjoy a three-course, prix fixe lunch menu priced at $30 per person (tax and gratuity not included).  The menu begins with a choice of Frisée and Apple Salad with bacon lardons, a soft-boiled egg and warm bacon vinaigrette or Chestnut Soup with whipped crème fraîche and hazelnuts followed by a choice of Chicken with little gem lettuce, Fourme d’Ambert blue cheese, buttermilk dressing and sourdough croutons or The Grill Room Burger, served on a sesame seed bun with house-made mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, fries and a pickle.  A dessert serving of a 70,000-calorie bread pudding, which serves up to 70 people and is made to honor the 70,000 attendees scheduled to march on the National Mall, will complete the meal. The March & Lunch menu is available exclusively during lunch service, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017.

For the perfect pairing, Bartender Girts Mihalkins has created three honorary cocktails, which will be available at The Grill Room and The Rye Bar on Saturday, January 21st.  Priced at $17 each, the Aviatrix is made from a combination of rose-infused gin, Maraschino liqueur, crème de violette and lemon juice; the Big, Bold & Beautiful is made from a combination of rye, Dolin Rouge and Byrrh Quinquina, and The March is made from a combination of Prosecco, Aperol and soda water, garnished with an orange slice.
