Chef Michael Schlow’s The Riggsby, will celebrate their 1 year anniversary on Tuesday, July 12 with “throwback” menu specials in the dining room as well as a cocktail party in the lounge and bar. The all-night cocktail party is a ticketed event where $35 gets guests a welcome cocktail and passed hors d'oeuvres between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. Classics like the Riggsby’s deviled eggs, as well as mini lobster rolls and tavern burger sliders will be on the menu. Tickets, which can be purchased at the door include passed food and the welcome cocktail, while additional drinks can be purchased at the bar. In the dining room, the full a la carte menu will be available, with two special additions: Clams Casino - littleneck clams stuffed with bacon, breadcrumbs and herb butter ($15) and Crown Rack of Lamb - stuffed with ground lamb and served with Mediterranean couscous and tzatziki (minimum of 2 people - $45 per person).

And there's more, The Riggsby’s popular Prime Rib Sunday will take a break for the summer with a lighter alternative of a Baked Lobster dinner. Available every Sunday evening, the $49 prix fixe menu offers a first course of a seasonal soup or salad, a second course of one whole stuffed lobster served with French fries and seasonal vegetables and a dessert of seasonal pie or cobbler. Prime Rib Sundays will return when the weather cools down later in the fall.
