WASHINGTON DC: Pizzeria Paradiso Celebrates Savor Craft Beer Week - May 31 - June 5

To celebrate SAVOR Craft Beer Week, Pizzeria Paradiso will feature a variety of beer specials, workshops and events at both of their DC locations in Dupont Circle and Georgetown. Coordinated by Beverage Director Josh Fernands, different events will be offered each day beginning Tuesday, May 31 and lasting through Sunday, June 5.

Tuesday, May 31 Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown will kick off the week with “locals night” with a stellar list of beers celebrating local area breweries. Some of the breweries represented will include Right Proper, DC Brau, Three Stars, Denizens, Port City and more. 

Wednesday, June 1 Ballast Point Fruit Fest beers will be featured on tap all day at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont. The lineup will include the Grapefruit Sculpin, Pineapple Sculpin, Watermelon Dorado, Mango Even Keel, Ginger Big Eye, Habanero Sculpin and others. 
Thursday, June 2 American Craft Foeders will host a Foeder workshop at Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. to explore the mystery and science behind this beer-making technique and allow guests to taste a number of Foeders on draft including: Perennial, Wicked Weed, Allagash, Right Proper and New Belgium

Saturday, June 4 Oskar Blues “CAN-tinental” Brunch at Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown with special brunch pizzas paired with a lineup of Oskar Blues beers. Oskar Blues Head Brewmaster Tim Matthews will be at the restaurant to talk through the beer and food pairings with guests. Tickets are available for $25 each. Please call 202-337-1245 to reserve. 
Sunday, June 5 Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont Circle will host their annual Allagash Brunch with this year’s guest brewery, Wicked Weed of North Carolina. Brunch will feature an a la carte menu with beer pairings for each course from both breweries. Please call 202-223-1245 to reserve.
