Beverage Director Andra “AJ” Johnson of Macon Bistro & Larder, located at 5520 Connecticut Ave., NW, has announced that it will debut four refreshing bottles of Rosé, which will be available exclusively for the month of June.  Guests will have the choice of enjoying a flight of three Rosé (excluding the magnum) for $18, or opt to try a Rosé by the glass for $12 or by the bottle for $48 (tax and gratuity not included).  Additionally, magnum bottles of 2015 Mas de Cadenet, AOC Sainte Victoire will also be on-hand for $80.  The magnum is ideal for groups of six to eight guests as the magnum pours roughly 12 glasses of wine.

The Rosé Macon Bistro & Larder plans to feature this June include:

2015 Domaine Aureillan, Cotes de Provence, 70% Grenache/30% Cinsault.  Very aromatic with notes of cherry and pink pepper, and a hint of melon.  Great pairing for spicy cuisine with Mediterranean accents or just sitting out on a patio.

2014 Alphonse Mellot Sancerre 'La Moussiere' Rosé, 100% Pinot Noir.  Refreshingly crisp with red fruits, tight lemon, and orange-zest acidity.  Lightly textured, with a minerality that comes from the chalk soil of the vineyard.

2015 Domaine du Pas de l'Escalette Coteaux du Languedoc "Ze Rosé", 35% Cinsault/35% Carignan/30% Grenache.  Redolent of watermelon and guava with zesty acidity.

2015 Mas de Cadenet, AOC Sainte Victoire, 40% Grenache/40% Cinsault/20% Syrah.  A traditional rose with an attractive salmon color.  It's refined and complex bouquet has both fruity and floral notes.  It has a fresh, yet rich palate and is extremely well balanced.
