PENN QTR: Boxwood Winery Tasting at The Source on March 25

On Friday, March 25 winemaker Rachel Martin from Boxwood Winery in Middleburg, Va. will pour tastes of her award-winning wine in the lounge at the Source by Wolfgang Puck. The wine will be paired with dumplings from Chef Scott and Rachel will pour complimentary tasting size portions of three of Boxwood’s most popular wines:
  • TOPIARY: an elegant red wine, reminiscent of the Right Bank of Bordeaux. A blend of nearly equal parts of Cabernet franc and Merlot, depending on the vintage
  • TRELLIS, a red wine with predominantly Merlot blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot
  • ROSÉ, a dry wine produced of all Boxwood varieties
