PENN QTR: June 6th, Daikaya Izakaya to Host Next 'Late Night at Daikaya' with a Nod to New Orleans

A Crawfish Boil done Daikaya-Style with NOLA-inspired sips, sweets, and beats from DJ Smudge on Saturday June 6th.
 'Late Night at Daikaya' returns on Saturday, June 6th offering up a nod to NOLA with a traditional Crawfish Boil done Daikaya-style, New Orleans-inspired sips, sweets, and music from DJ Smudge. From 11AM to 1AM hosted on the 2nd floor in Daikaya's izakaya, guests will enjoy a traditional crawfish boil complete with corn, potatoes, onions, and more. The feast will be served up alongside melted butter, Louisiana hot sauce, and even a secret sauce made in-house by the Daikaya team. An assortment of ice cold New Orleans beers will also be available as well as a classic frozen boozy beverage taking guests right back to Bourbon Street in one sip. And for a sweet finish, Chef Fukushima will be preparing a creative twist on Bananas Foster with vanilla soft serve.

Located on the 2nd floor - Daikaya’s izakaya is a modern and eclectic space that serves as Chef Katsuya and teams culinary playground boasting a full bar and rustic dining room where food and drink are intended to be enjoyed seamlessly. 'Late Night at Daikaya' occurs on selected Saturday's each month and allows Chef Fukushima and team the opportunity to create and share exciting and interactive culinary collaborations and/or themed culinary-driven events.
