Calling All DC Authors - The DC Author Festival is on the Horizon

The DC Author Festival (DCAF) is currently accepting applications from local DC authors. The deadline for applications has been extended to June 15. The event will take take place in October, at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library at 901 G St. NW and they are hoping to get a diverse group of local authors.

DCAF is a public celebration of contemporary authors who live in Washington, DC. The festival contains vending and exhibiting tables where authors and publishers may promote or sell their works to the public, public readings by local authors, and special keynote presentations. 

There is a registration fee, but the registration fee will be donated to the DC Public Library Foundation to support the work of the library. The District of Columbia Public Library Foundation (Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enhances DC Public Library resources and programs to promote, in all community members, literacy and a thirst for knowledge. Funds raised by the Foundation go to the sole support of the DCPL.
