Blagden Alley's "The American" gets a new look Before ANC & HPRB Get to Decide

The architect has presented a 'tweeked' new look for the planned Xavier Cervera restaurant, The American in Blagden Alley. Meeting on Tuesday with The Blagden Alley/Naylor Court Association (BANCA) and with the ANC2F CDC on Wednesday evening, the presentation shows the exterior with its new look prior to being reviewed by the full ANC and HPRB

The walls of the 'Boxing Club' building will be retained and stucco applied, new windows and entrance will add natural light and trees will feature on the alley street sides. Overall the design is very close to the renderings published earlier.

The American will be located in Blagden Alley, sided at the M Street and 10th Street NW alley entrances, and diagonally across from La Colombe and Rogue 24.

The presentation will be made to the ANC and HPRB later this year.

More to come.........
