Old Dominion Brewery on 9th Street NW has Closed

Sources have told me that the Old Dominion Brewhouse, ODB, the local Shaw Sports Bar/Restaurant, come Live Event location at 1219 9th Street NW has closed its doors for good. Owner, Scott has been struggling with an illness and has decided to close the doors on his popular local pub. Employees have been let go already, and the doors are closed.
A huge loss to Shaw. ODB was one of the first Restaurant/Bars along the ,then new, 9th Street NW corridor, as part of the new Convention Center. They are now surrounded by many restaurants, bars and other retail..so its especially hard to see them close.
I know that the surrounding residents all thank Scott, and wish it wasn't so.
