Quick Shots #54: MVT A Quick Walkabout (Make-Up)

So, I haven't really been out and about in Mount Vernon Triangle for a few weeks, much has happened and I thought that an update of 'goings on' was in order. Here is a quick photo gallery.

So here goes;
New Signage is up all over, Cloakroom, Capitol City liquor store, The Lyric et. al. all have something new

Very Cool Sign for the Lyric Apartments at 440K St. NW

Cloakroom has really tried to shrug of the history of their building, and this sign adds to its attempts

Nice. Capitol City is going through some changes, besides the sign

Capitol City is working on improving their windows and there general look

Future home of Dacha Beer Garden 2, is coming along on 5th St NW

The building that houses Cloakroom and the New Dacha Beer Garden has space available for a new restaurant

Around the corner at 5th and K Streets Q West Nails is rockin' it - 2 is their 2nd location

Rays Hellburger's has covered their windows (equipment was visible before) but maintained its coming soon sign

Alba Osteria continues to be a DC Hot-Spot, Eye Street Cellars is open, Tel'Veh Cafe & Wine Bar anchors at 4th and Mass Ave. Silo has added a new menu and live music on 5th and the mainstays Bus Boys & Poets, Mandu, Taylor Gourmet and Kushi, all on K Street, offer visitors to the area a wide choice of dining and drinking places.

The Marriott Marquis will open on May 1st, business' in the MVT look to be getting ready for the expected influx of visitors, as well as continuing to create a great neighborhood environment for its residence....
