Update on The American, in Blagden Alley: Renderings

I have been following The American a planned restaurant by the Xavier Cervera and Cervera Group which will be located in Blagden Alley, this is the space currently housing the "Downtown Boxing Club" and incorporates the small parking lot behind the property. No surprise that it has encountered some permitting issues, that undoubtedly it will get through, so movement has been at a snails pace. Surfacing this weekend though, the architect for the project has published a possible view of the future. See Below;
Alley access to the American - now a parking lot - sweet iron-work
Front access - now the Boxing Club - features fantastic windows
The American will be close to artist studios, La Colombe Coffee, Rogue 24, and a number of yet to be named other restaurants.
"With the American, we are bringing the concept of the family restaurant and the neighborhood bar to the neighborhood, somewhere for its neighbors can just take a stroll through the alley, and enjoy a craft beer or a hearty dish"
