Pekoe had a free chair massage that was most popular
Saturday afternoon, great weather, and a great crowd of people walked the streets of Shaw, as many of the small business' of the neighborhood opened their doors to residents and visitors alike. Walking around, it was so good to see so many people participating, on 9th, 7th and there crossroads there was a steady stream of folks visiting business' that have, in many cases, not been in Shaw long enough to have experienced "Open House" before. Some tweets mid afternoon seemed to indicate that the word had gone out for more 'passports' as the numbers swelled.

A constant flow of people to La Colombe Coffee in Blagden Alley surpassed expectations
La Colombe Coffee Roasters took the opportunity to fire up their truck and premier their coffee for the first time (the Blagden Alley location should be open in 4 - 6 weeks) and found that people really wanted to try out the brews. By 3.15, "we have had as many people by already, as we expected all day" said Greg Smith, Manager of La Colombe DC. La Colombe was joined by Rogue 24 owner & chef RJ Cooper, who created a 'new' coffee soda for the 'Open House" , yes you heard right a "Coffee Soda".
Reformation Fitness owner Mike Huling was on hand as many folks got a first look at the new expanded space, and the original space for the first time, " a good flow of people have come through so far, its been a good day"
