Quick Shots #8: Looks Like LongView Gallery is going to Expand

So its true! Here is the Longview Gallery announcement  "BREAKING NEWS: We are very excited to announce... Long View Gallery is expanding! "adds 9,000 sq ft, completion set for October 2013

I hope this doesn't come back to bite me!!
I looks as though the Longview Gallery on 9th Street NW is going to be expanding. There is a little speculation on my part here, but the property next door to LongView Gallery which is at 1234 9th Street has a demolition permit attached. The permit is for the removal of walls. The property in question, has been used, until recently, as a "pop-up" furniture store, and is now vacant. In the past Longview had used the property as storage. But since its exterior renovation (which is definitely 'storefront' in design) that would seem impracticable. So what we will we get, a bigger gallery? or is it just additional party space?

The worker really gives a good perspective of the enormous space

Longview Gallery is on its way to a planned October opening of it's expanded space, this is my first real look and it is cavernous......

As a Gallery and Reception space the amount of work needed is much less
